Never double-book a trailer again.

Conflict detection runs on every rental attempt across every channel — your booking widget, phone, and walk-ins. The trailer's calendar is the single source of truth, and overlaps are blocked before payment ever clears.

Unified

One inbox for every rental.

Bookings from your website, the phone, and walk-ins flow into the same queue with the same fields. The source is tagged so you know where each renter came from — but the calendar, the contract, and the cash all work the same way.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Can renters book directly from my website?

Yes. Every TrailerBase account includes an embeddable booking widget for any existing site, plus a fully hosted rental site on your own TrailerBase subdomain, available on the Advanced plan. Renters pick dates, choose add-ons, sign a contract, and pay — without ever calling the office. Every booking lands in the same calendar as your phone and walk-in rentals.

What payment methods are accepted?

TrailerBase processes payments through Stripe, which means all major credit and debit cards, ACH bank transfers, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Link. Renters can pay the full balance up front, a deposit at booking with the balance due at pickup, or be billed after return for damages and tolls — all configurable per trailer.

How are no-shows and cancellations handled?

You set the rules. Configure a cancellation policy per trailer (full refund up to 48 hours out, 50% within 24, no refund inside 12, etc.), and TrailerBase enforces it automatically when a renter cancels. No-shows can be marked to free the trailer back to the calendar so the slot is bookable by someone else.

Can I require a deposit?

Yes, and you can require it conditionally. Set a flat deposit, a percentage of the rental, or a refundable security hold per trailer or trailer type. Stripe captures the hold at booking and releases or charges it on return based on damage notes and the return inspection — you do not handle a single card number.

Do I need to manually confirm bookings?

You choose. By default, online bookings auto-confirm once payment clears so renters get an instant answer (and you get a calendar entry). You can switch any trailer to manual review if it is a high-value unit you want to vet renters for, in which case the request waits in your inbox until you approve or decline it.

What about same-day rentals?

Same-day is supported and configurable. Set a minimum lead time per trailer (zero, two hours, until the next morning), and TrailerBase enforces it on the booking widget. The calendar shows real-time availability down to the hour, so a renter at 9 AM can see and book a 1 PM pickup if you allow it.
