A real site. Not a template with your logo dropped in.

A Squarespace template with your logo on it isn't a rental site — it's a brochure with a contact form. This is a site built for the actual job: live availability, real bookings, your fleet, your brand, your domain.

Get online

Three ways to take bookings online.

Plug into your existing tools, list on your own subdomain, or let our AI build a site for you — pick the path that fits how you already work.

Drop our booking widget directly into your existing site. Keep your brand, your domain, your design — just add powerful rental functionality.

The editor

Edit it like a doc.

Drag sections, pick colors, swap fonts, change layouts. The editor is designed for operators, not for designers — every change publishes live the moment you click save.

No CSS, no plugins to update, no theme to keep current. The site keeps itself current with your fleet.

What you get

Three things a trailer-rental site has to do.

A booking site that doesn't do these isn't a booking site — it's a brochure pretending.

Live data
Fleet, pricing, availability
Pulled directly from your TrailerBase dashboard. Update once, reflected on the site instantly.
No double-bookings
When a phone rental comes in, the trailer is unavailable on the site within seconds.
Real bookings
Direct checkout
Renters book and pay on your site. No redirect to a third-party flow, no abandoned-cart drop-off.
Contracts auto-send
The rental, e-sign contract, and confirmation email all fire on submit — same as a phone booking.
Your brand
Custom domain, your colors
Your domain, your logo, your photography, your voice. The TrailerBase footer line is the only TrailerBase mark.
SEO out of the box
Structured data, per-trailer landing pages, fast Core Web Vitals — set once, ranks locally over 30–60 days.
37%

share of bookings that come direct through operator-owned sites.

Industry expectation for direct-bookings split when operators run their own site
From the field
I had a Squarespace site for four years that did nothing — pretty pictures, contact form, zero bookings. Switched to TrailerBase and the new site outbooked the old one in the first weekend. I cancelled Squarespace the next Monday.

FAQ

The questions operators ask first.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. Bring your existing domain (we'll walk you through the DNS records — about 5 minutes), or register a new one through TrailerBase. SSL is auto-provisioned and renews itself.

What if I already have a site?

Two options. Replace it — most operators do, because the booking and live availability are the whole point. Or keep your current site and embed only the booking widget where it matters; the rest of your existing content stays untouched.

Is it good for SEO?

Every site ships with structured data (LocalBusiness, Vehicle, FAQPage), fast Core Web Vitals, and per-trailer landing pages tuned for 'trailer rental near me' search intent. Most operators rank locally within 30–60 days.

Can I customize the design?

Colors, fonts, hero photography, page copy, navigation, footer — all editable without code. If you want to go further, custom CSS is available on every plan.

What if I want a custom page that's not a template?

Add a blank section anywhere on the site and drop in any content — text, images, embeds, custom HTML. There's no penalty for going off-template; the live booking and fleet pages stay structured, and the rest is yours.

Who hosts it?

We do — on a global CDN, with auto-SSL and daily backups. You never deal with hosting, certificates, or downtime windows. We aim for high availability but don't currently provide a contractual uptime guarantee. Hosting is included in every TrailerBase plan.
