Dump

A dump trailer has a hinged bed that tilts hydraulically to unload loose material - dirt, gravel, mulch, roofing tear-off, scrap metal.

• Common renters: Contractors, landscapers, demolition crews, homeowners doing yard cleanup

Enclosed

An enclosed trailer (also called a cargo trailer) is a fully walled, lockable box on wheels.

• Typical size: 6x12, 7x14, 7x16, 8.5x20, 8.5x24
• Common renters: Movers, band and event crews, e-commerce sellers, motorcycle haulers, contractors securing tools overnight
• Pricing notes: Daily rates $60-$120. Longer trailers (20ft+) command weekly bookings. Cleaning fees are lower than dump because damage is usually cosmetic.

Flatbed

A flatbed trailer is an open deck with no sides - a bare platform for oversized or oddly shaped cargo.

Utility

A utility trailer is an open, smaller trailer with mesh or solid sides, usually single-axle.

Gooseneck

A gooseneck hitches to a ball mount in the bed of a pickup rather than a bumper hitch, giving it much higher payload and better maneuverability.

A car carrier (sometimes called a wedge or multi-car hauler) is a specialty car hauler with a tilting or wedge deck for low-clearance vehicles.

• Common renters: Dealers, auto transporters, collectors with lowered cars
• Pricing notes: Daily $125-$225. Specialized - often booked weekly.

RV

An RV category covers towable recreational units: travel trailers, fifth wheels, pop-ups, and toy haulers.
