Creating Your TrailerBase Account

Getting started with TrailerBase takes about five minutes. This guide walks you through every step from the registration page through the onboarding wizard.

Step 1: Visit the registration page

Open your browser and go to /register on the TrailerBase site. You can reach it from the top-right Sign Up button on the marketing homepage, or directly via the link your referrer gave you.

Step 2: Choose a signup method

You have two ways to create your account:

1. Email and password - Enter your business email and pick a password with at least 10 characters, including one number and one symbol.
2. Continue with Google - Click the Google button and pick a Google account. TrailerBase pulls your name and email automatically.

Step 3: Pick a plan

Next you will see three plan cards:

• Launch - $30/mo (or $25/mo annual). Up to 5 trailers, basic calendar, manual invoicing. Great for testing.
• Pro - $109/month, or $99/month billed annually. Stripe payments, advanced reports, maintenance logs, AI inbox.
• Advanced - $249/month, or $199/month billed annually. GPS integrations, white-label public site, voice AI receptionist, staff seats, marketing tools.

Every new account also gets a 30-day free trial of Pro, so you can explore the paid features without committing a card. You will see a countdown in the top bar during the trial.

Step 4: Verify your email

After you submit the signup form, TrailerBase sends a verification email to the address you used. Open your inbox, click Verify my email, and you will be redirected back into the app.

Step 5: Complete the onboarding wizard

As soon as you sign in for the first time, the onboarding wizard opens in a full-screen panel. It walks you through:

1. Your business name and display name
2. Your time zone and currency
3. Your primary trailer type (so the first dashboard widgets are relevant)
4. Uploading your logo (optional - you can skip and do it later)
5. Inviting your first teammate (Advanced plan)

Each step has a Skip for now link. Anything you skip shows up in the setup checklist on your dashboard so you can come back to it.

Step 6: Land on the dashboard

When the wizard finishes, you land on the TrailerBase Dashboard. You will see:

• A welcome banner with the Start the guided tour button
• A setup checklist on the right side
• Empty-state widgets for Upcoming Rentals, Today's Activity, and Revenue

Troubleshooting

• Did not receive the verification email? Check spam, then click Resend.
• Google signup errored? Try again in a private window - this usually means a previous Google session is interfering.
• Stuck on the plan screen? Pick Launch and upgrade later from Settings > Billing.
