Fleet List Views: Grid, Table, Filters, and Export

The Trailers page is the home base for everyone who manages your fleet. It is built so the lot manager, the bookkeeper, and you can each look at the same list and see what you actually need.

Grid vs table

In the top right of Trailers > List is a view toggle:

Grid view shows each trailer as a card with its primary photo, name, type, daily rate, and status pill. This is the visual view — useful when you are showing the fleet to a new hire or want to double-check that your photos look sharp.

Table view is a dense spreadsheet-style layout with one row per trailer and columns for name, type, status, daily rate, weekly rate, location, VIN, and last rented. Table view is what most operators end up living in because you can scan it fast and sort by any column.

Your last choice is remembered per device, so flipping between them does not slow you down.

Filters

The filter bar across the top lets you narrow the list without searching. The three most-used filters:

• Type — dump, enclosed, flatbed, utility, car hauler, equipment, and any custom types you have defined.
• Status — Active, Maintenance, or Retired.
• Location — shows up if you have more than one physical yard configured in Settings > Locations.

Filters combine with AND logic, so picking "dump" and "maintenance" gives you only dump trailers currently out of service. A small chip for each active filter appears above the list — click the x to clear just that one, or Clear all to reset.

Sort

Click any column header in table view to sort. The most useful sorts in our experience:

• Name — alphabetical, for finding a specific trailer fast.
• Rate — to spot pricing outliers that might be too high or too low.
• Created — to see what you added most recently, which helps you keep onboarding momentum when you are growing the fleet.

Shift-clicking a second column sorts by that as a tiebreaker.

Search

The search box matches on name, VIN, and license plate. Partial matches work, so "ABC12" finds a trailer with plate "ABC1234."

CSV export

Click Actions > Export CSV to download your whole filtered list as a spreadsheet. The export includes every visible column plus a few extras useful for accounting — purchase date, purchase price, depreciation class, and total lifetime revenue.

Because it respects your current filters, you can export just the retired trailers for an asset-disposal report, or just the maintenance trailers for a quick report to your mechanic.

Tip: save a filtered URL

The page URL updates as you filter and sort. Bookmark the setup you use every morning — for example, "active dump trailers sorted by last rented" — and you jump straight there on every login.
